Optimum conditions for raising horses
The most important conditions for
raising sound horses are:
-
A lot of natural movement
-
Sufficient feed of top quality
-
Training for good behaviour
-
Good human interaction and a lot of care
Our infrastructure:
The Moulin de Waltenheim was built in 1673 and stands on approx. 9 hectares of rich
pasture land. All the pastures have access to fresh water and natural shelter with the many
old trees situated on the property.
Our facilities include:
• Dressage paddock 20 x 60 m
• Indoor riding arena
• 2 all-weather sand paddocks (large enough for horses to have a trot and canter)
• 14 boxes
• 2 foaling boxes with video camera surveillance
• 3 boxes over 25 m2
From the stable straight to the large pastures ...
A matter of course with
our rearing:
-
regular deworming
-
regular visit by the farrier
-
regular visit by our equine dentist
-
highly experienced equine vets
Our foals receive a lot of hands on attention ...
... and are very well acquainted and completely relaxed around people.
What a wonderful horse-life!
