Training – Uta Gräf with her future pupils
UTA GRÄF, who does not know her. She is probably one of the most easy going, cheerful and highly successful international dressage riders along with her husband, Stefan Schneider, a practising vet and well known trainer and rider of working equitation.
Uta and Stefan are highly appreciated and well known for their natural horse-friendly approach to training competition horses. On their farm, horses, up to international Grand-Prix-level, enjoy daily pasture turnout year round and their training is well adapted to their development and capacities.
On our farm the education of the youngsters starts at an early age. We provide them with the best of care and endeavour to establish a strong and positive relationship with them.
The training starts with teaching the foals to be led and easily handled and continues with various groundwork exercises. When they are ready, we start lunging them and ride them in a very quiet and careful way. We love to take them out hacking in our nearby pleasant countryside and expose them to as many new experiences as possible. After our initial training on the farm the horses are then ready for the next level and continue their training either with Uta Gräf or other professional friends of ours.
Our two “black boys” Du Noir and Donizetti (yearlings on the picture) have developed into well made, promising horses. But looking well does not yet make successful dressage horses. Horses have to be “made”. Only through professional training, patience and good horsemanship do they become real athletes.

Besides Uta Gräf, we also place our horses with experienced trainers who bring them on in disciplines other than pure dressage.
COROMANDEL DU MOULIN - Contendro - Sunlight xx
This lovely mare went to Philine Ganders-Meyer in Warendorf who trained her for eventing. She qualified the mare twice for the Bundes-Championate in Warendorf and is now regularly placed in international Three-Day-Events circuits.
LORD TUDOR (Lenny) - Londonderry ad Suomi - Sunlight xx - is an advanced level dressage horse with Uta Gräf
achieved.
DONIZETTI - Destano ad Fiederqueen (breeder Silvia Streiff) - is on the best way to becoming a fine dressage horse with Uta Gräf.
DU NOIR - De Niro ad Suomi - Sunlight xx - makes his career as a dressage horse with the highly talented junior rider Robin van Ravenstein in Verden.
DAMON JEROMIE - This nice looking mare is a real “all-rounder” and has been trained in Luhmühlen. She produced an excellent performance in her “Zuchtstutenprüfung” test, showing off 3 very good paces and a high capability for jumping.
DAMSY - Our highly appreciated Damsy was professionally trained at the stable of Susanne and Jens Meyer in Dorum and performed very well in her mare test in Verden. Damsy is akin to her dam, Suomi – Sunlight xx passing on her best qualities to her progeny, namely the wonderful interior.

Coromandel du Moulin – this mare seems to be made on measure for Philine Ganders-Meyer, a very talented amateur rider, who in her profession works for the German Federation in the field of eventing.
Coromandel was backed as a 4-yr old and thanks to the skilful training of Philine reached a highly successful level, to the great pride of the breeder. Thanks to the lovely interior of Coromandel, she can also be ridden by Philine’s 12yr old daughter.
The careful training for water-obstacles has led to success.
Intensive training for the dressage-part in eventing is most important.
